John Carradine Dracula – House of Frankenstein

Hey Universal Horror film fans; here’s a seldom seen resin model of John Carradine as Dracula, finely finished, ready to display.

Produced over 20 years ago by Diceman Creations of New Jersey, this piece saw an extremely short lifespan due to the model’s mold breaking down prematurely. Consequently, very few were ever cast. The piece depicts Carradine’s Count resting in his coffin, as seen in the 1944 film, “House of Frankenstein.”

Diceman’s model is cleanly cast in solid resin as one piece.

It’s a 1/8 scale piece, with a 9” Dracula figure within a coffin that measures 11” tall x 4 ½” wide x 2 ¼” deep on display.

Classic Monster model collectors know that John Carradine’s portrayal of the Count has rarely been often rendered in resin kit form, this being one of the few. A find not easily found, Diceman’s Dracula is indeed scarce to unearth today.
