Dracula – Bela Lugosi

The King of all vampires is vividly captured here by Tony McVey, in what is surely one of the finest portraits of the legendary Lugosi ever produced.

Every subtle nuance of Lugosi’s Dracula is meticulously rendered in fine detail, with McVey delivering a piece that almost breathes with unnatural life. Beyond the striking portrait, the bust is handsomely designed, with the Count’s slick garments trailing down in fluid motion to a pair of gargoyles, creating a dynamic display of angles and gothic ornamentation.

Officially licensed by Lugosi Enterprises, the Count Dracula tribute bust was released by ArtAttack in 1999 as a limited edition of 500, all of which sold out quicker than a vampire vanishes. Molded in heavy-weight gray vinyl as one piece the Dracula bust is roughly 1/3 scale, standing 10″ tall x 4 ½” wide on display.

Now long out of production, we don’t get these very often.
